A few days ago, we join Campus Hiring event at STIKOM Bali. In this event, we find some talented people that have a good ability in some fields. This year we have a plan to expand our development field to several line. Thats why we need more talented people to join the team and play arround with us here at our base camp. This morning  I heard on radio the story behind of Ferari logo. I think it is a wonderful story to share. The black prancing horse with yellow background on Ferrari logo was added by Enzo Ferrari the founder of Ferrari because of Countess Paulina advice.

The horse was painted on the fuselage of the fighter plane of Francesco Baracca, Countess Paulina's son. Francesco Baracca is a heroic man of the first world war. One day Countess Paulina said to Ferrari "Ferrari, put my son’s prancing horse on your cars. It will bring you good luck". The horse was, and still is, black, and he added the canary yellow background which is the colour of Modena.

Starting in early year of 2009, we decide to upgrade our backend CMS system that we've developed. And yes, i got the duty to develop it internally. It was a long road to start and many challanges has been faced. A lot of idea came while developing it, which is really distructing my focus to achive the goal. But since that day, i realise that idea is always changes, that's why we have to start execute it.

In the beginning, the main purpose of this project were to create CMS for interen use to increase our productivity when we developing a website. But then the idea was changed. We prefer not just to create the CMS but it has to be a tools that can grabbed potential people to join the community and communicate with them. Some people ask me, "Why you build a new engine for this, there are so many opensource system out there like Wordpress, Drupal, Joomla etc?".

Yesterday was such a good and fun day for all of us. Ya, yesterday was our 4th anniversay and we did a fun trip to Lembongan. First of all, I would like to say Happy Anniversary to all team, hopefully in this year we can do more good things for the society and help other people to fix their problems. And thanks to all of our clients that works with us in the last four years and give us a lot of challanges and oportunity to grow. Some people believe that "4" is bad and unlucky number. But for us in this 4 anniversary is a momentum to start act, and share our knowladge to the community. 

Many challanges still infront of us, but we have to take some rest from our computers, million of code and colors which is our daily consumption. As usual, every year we did a vacation trip and sometimes we did a BBQ in the weekend :). But this year, we choose Lembongan as our destination. Here are some photos of our trip:

This also marks Lumonata's 4th anniversary, it has been great years, we had lots of fun and faced lots of challenge and we are looking forward to see the coming years.
